Work is always more difficult when you have a supervisor who isn't on your side. The toxicity that comes with a work environment like that truly brings you down each do you clock in. But when you have a supervisor who actually cares about their employees and fights for you and trusts you, then work is 100% better.
One employee took to Reddit to share a story of their supportive supervisor. This redditor was working when she got a call from a notorious coworker from a different department. This coworker was know to be what we call "a Karen." This Karen coworker demanded a form from OP that OP did not have. Why? Because those forms had nothing to do with her job. She tried telling the Karen that she had phoned the wrong department and that she cannot help her with this request because she literally has no idea what she is asking for.
The Karen, of course, tried to gaslight OP into thinking she was in the wrong and that even though she was "new" she needed to pick up the job duties much quicker. The funny thing is that OP had been working there for 3 years and knew exactly how to do her job. So the Karen, in a Karen classic move, asked to speak to her supervisor.
Little did this Karen know that this supervisor was awesome. The supervisor immediately shot her down and let her stunned to silence. Epic.
